Where We've Been


In 1992, the Starling Chamber Orchestra toured Germany for performances in Cologne, Limburg, Paderborn, Erlangen and Fuerth.

The Starling Chamber Orchestra's 1994 European tour included concerts in the German cities of Dachau, Limburg and Kempen, as well as Vienna, Austria and Vevey, Switzerland. In 1995, the orchestra traveled to Istanbul for two concerts in the historic Hagia Irene as part of the International Istanbul Youth Festival.

In 1997 the SCO played four successful concerts in Korea before returning to the Aspen Music Festival for another concert.

The SCO performed on two major tours to the People's Republic of China in 2000 and 2001. In 2002 members of the SCO traveled to Munich and Wurtzburg and in 2003 the orchestra performed eight concerts during a tour to Vienna, Munich, and St. Petersburg, a tour which included appearances at Schonbrunn Palace and at Philharmonic Hall during St. Petersburg's 300th Anniversary Celebration.
